About HalalFreak
HalalFreak is an independent directory of halal-certified establishments in Singapore. It is built by rebuilding the public register published on the MUIS Halal e-Service into pages you can search, browse by area and link to.
The register itself belongs to Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS), the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, which issues halal certification. We add navigation on top of it: planning-area pages, mall pages, category pages, a fast search box and per-outlet profiles that show the certificate number so you can match it against the official register.
What we do and do not do
- We do republish register facts: names, addresses, schemes and certificate numbers.
- We do show when our copy was last refreshed (currently 5 July 2026) and mark outlets that drop out of the register.
- We do not certify anything, rate food, or decide what is halal. Certification is solely MUIS's role.
- We do not claim affiliation with MUIS or any government body.
Data freshness
The dataset currently holds 4,473 certified establishments and is refreshed on a regular schedule. Certification status can change between refreshes, so for decisions that matter, confirm against the official e-Service. If you spot an error, tell us.
